Hi, I'm Megan!
I am a recent graduate of Georgia State University. Having studied in the interdisciplinary field of Game Design & Development, I found myself dabbling in a wide variety of subjects and media. I have a great interest in storytelling and fantastical worlds, so I am often drawn to books, video games, shows, and films that can take me somewhere new. I'm especially moved by the experiential nature of video games as they often combine aspects of several traditional mediums. I’m still having fun learning how to embody ideas through design and technology.

What I'm playing
Recently, I had the chance to play through a charming little game called Toem. What stands out most to me about this game was how the sound effects, music, and visual details brought so much color into a black and white world. It's fascinating to experience how much audio and visuals can add to a simple scene. The camera mechanic in the game was fun and interesting because I felt like I was a real photographer dealing with difficult subjects. I also like the added features that created puzzle-like challenges for me to think through in order to get the shot I needed. This game is full of imagination, and I enjoyed getting lost in this hand-drawn world. Highly recommended!
